The Tennessee Volunteers have secured their first transfer portal addition of the 2026 cycle.
Safety Qua Moss committed to Tennessee on Sunday afternoon, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Moss addresses a key positional need for coach Josh Heupel’s Volunteers. He is ranked as the No. 27 player at his position in the 2026 class by 247Sports.
In his lone season at Kansas State, Moss recorded 41 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions and one forced fumble.

Some of his best performances came against Texas Tech, where he finished with five tackles, and TCU, where he added four more.
Despite being slightly undersized at 5-foot-10, 185 pounds, Moss has drawn praise for his strength and physical style of play. That physicality was on display during his interception against UCF.
After the game, The Wichita Eagle reported that his head coach Chris Klieman praised Moss for his effort.
“He has got really good ball skills and he’s a physical kid,” Klieman said. “He loves the game, he’s a competitor and he loves to play. That’s the fun thing about watching Qua … He’s going to practice and play the way the game is supposed to be played.”
Moss began his collegiate career at Dodge City Community College before transferring to West Georgia. The 2024 season marked his first year with the Wildcats.
He will be a true senior next season.
