Tennessee is expected to lose 11 players this offseason as transfer portal movement and expiring eligibility combine to significantly reshape the Lady Vols’ roster.
At least six players have announced plans to enter the transfer portal, signaling a wave of departures before the window officially opens.
Guards Mia and Mya Pauldo are among the latest to announce their intentions. Mia served as Tennessee’s starting point guard, averaging 23.4 minutes per game while shooting 35.6% from the field. Mya played a reserve role, appearing in 27 games and averaging 10 minutes.

Deniya Prawl and Alyssa Latham were the first to announce their plans to enter the portal. Prawl, a five-star recruit ranked No. 6 overall and No. 3 wing by 247Sports. She started seven games and shot 41% from the field. Latham spent three seasons with the Lady Vols. She posted her most efficient year in her final season, shooting 53.9% from the field while averaging 3.4 rebounds per game.
Kaniya Boyd and Lauren Hurst also announced plans to enter the portal, bringing the total number of expected departures via transfer to six.
Those exits come alongside the loss of multiple seniors who have exhausted their eligibility.
Tennessee is expected to lose its entire frontcourt, including Zee Spearman, Janiah Barker, and Jersey Wolfenbarger. Guard Nya Robertson, one of the team’s more reliable scorers, is also out of eligibility. Fifth-year guard Kaiya Wynn departed the program at the end of the regular season.
The combined departures leave Tennessee with only a small group of returning players. Guards Talaysia Cooper and Jaida Civil are all that remains as of Wednesday afternoon.
Kim Caldwell faces a full roster rebuild heading into next season.

The losses span nearly every position group, including the entirety of Tennessee’s frontcourt rotation and significant portions of its backcourt depth.
Those expected departures lead to major gaps in scoring, size, and experience. The Lady Vols are expected to rely heavily on the transfer portal and incoming recruiting class to rebuild the roster this offseason.
