Lady Vols’ Head Coach Kim Caldwell and husband, Justin, recently welcomed their first child
Knoxville, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee announced Thursday evening that Lady Vols’ Head Coach Kim Caldwell and husband, Justin are proud new parents.
The couple has recently welcomed their new son, Connor Scott Caldwell.
While the information is limited, UT said that the newly expanded family are all “doing well.”
The happy update comes after the team revealed their head coach did not travel with the team to Austin, Texas ahead of their match with the Longhorns Thursday night.
Assistant coach Jenna Burdette, who is in her fourth season working alongside Kim, will serve as the acting head coach in her absence.
This was Burdette ahead of Thursday’s match.
There is no word, yet, on when Kim will make her return to the team.
Justin is also the Player Development Coordinator for Tennessee’s Men’s Basketball team.
Justin has over a decade of experience across the Division I, Division II, high school, and youth levels.
He also spent five years as a collegiate head coach.
Though, most recently he was an assistant at Marshall University during the 2023-24 season.
