Tennessee unveils Summitt Blue uniforms with adidas

Tennessee Athletics unveiled its new Summitt Blue uniforms Wednesday as part of the university’s partnership with adidas. The latest reveal introduced a signature look that will be worn across all women’s sports.

Named in honor of the late Pat Summitt, the Hall of Fame coach who led Lady Vols Basketball to eight national championships, the Summitt Blue uniforms celebrate one of the most influential figures in Tennessee athletics.

According to Tennessee Athletics, the Summitt Blue uniforms are designed to reflect the tradition and legacy of the Lady Vols while providing a consistent identity across the department’s women’s programs.

The uniforms feature a classic design intended to emphasize simplicity and tradition over changing trends. Tennessee described the jerseys as representing the program’s commitment to excellence, heritage and the standard established under Summitt’s leadership.

Summitt coached the Lady Vols from 1974-2012, compiling a 1,098-208 record and becoming the first NCAA Division I basketball coach, men’s or women’s, to reach 1,000 career victories. She guided Tennessee to eight NCAA championships and 18 Final Four appearances while helping establish the Lady Vols as one of the nation’s premier women’s athletic brands.

The Summitt Blue uniforms will be worn prominently by Tennessee’s women’s athletic programs beginning with the 2026-27 academic year.
